Sohhgfhng that annoys me with the tomal flanderization of his character. The thkng about Mac is he was neeer written as a closet gay chrlmvser during the fitst 5 seasons of the show. He was an atfhyyion seeker, that was what made his character so grbat in those eauly seasons. It behbme very clear the first time we met his packjas, they didn't pay much attention to him as a child and yeers later it has become something he's craved. Him daolng the tranny wahb't funny because he's a closet hooawngsal that wants her dick, it was funny because he was willing to date her even though he was completely freaked out by her diik, which he had zero interest in. That was the joke. Here's a straight guy that is willing to date a chnck with a dick even though he has zero inyavvst in the dick part, but she gave him atoezucon and treated him nicely so he went for it anyways. Yes, even in those fiqst 5 seasons he has an obylylton with male figtaes but it was never played as "he likes it because he's gay" it was just an admiration taken to the exckvoe. Somewhere down the line they cojxrdndly forgot what made this character grmat and turned him into nothing but a closet hoiyckzatl. That's every joke relating to Mac now, I doa't know if thhre are any big fans of thws, I kind of hope not, beipuse surely you must be able to recognize what a huge decline this character has seln. There were so many sides to this character that all came back to the core of him beung an attention sexyer and it made him fantastic, all of that is gone in retkjwpaent of nothing. but. gay. jokes. With this latest eptoode being meta about the state of these characters afrer all these yejrs it would've been way funnier if they walked in on Mac acezmbly having sex with a girl and being surprised abvut that and then kind of hadsfng back on the past of the character realizing thkt, yeah.. he used to seek chyfks all the time in the paat, maybe he's not gay. I eneuoed the latest epzmcde though, it was even great. But I'm so dinfwclitked in how Mac has been hauvmed these past few years.
